Congratulations to our IMSD community members who successfully defended their thesis this academic year!

On August 7th, Jazlyn Nketia (Cognitive, Linguistic, and Psychological Sciences), defended her thesis, "The Role of Lived Experience and Contextual Demand on Working Memory Development in Early Childhood."

Jovan Kemp (Cognitive, Linguistic, and Psychological Sciences) defended his thesis on October 25th, "Mechanisms Underlying 3D Vision: A comparison between stochastic and deterministic accounts."

Treshaun Sutton (Chemistry) defended her thesis, "The Impact of DNA Packaging on the Base Excision Repair Pathway," on October 27th.

Lacie (Dube) Connelli (Chemistry) defended her thesis, "Doping of Lead-Free Perovskite Nanocrystals: Tuning the Composition, Dimensionality, and Dopant Characteristics" on December 13th. 

On February 6th, Anne-Mary Salib (Neuroscience) defended her thesis, "Neuroimmune crosstalk underlying adaptive and maladaptive sensitization of sensory neurons in skin."

In Pathobiology, Amanda Ruiz, defended her thesis "Schistosoma japonicum helminth defense molecule 1 regulates inflammation at the host-parasite interface" on March 27th.

On April 1st, Kelvin De Leon (Neuroscience) defended his thesis "Phenotypic Distinction Between Missense and Loss of Function Mutations in SLC13A5 Epilepsy."
